Introduction

GhostBlock sits between your computer and the Internet. It lets you see everything that your computer sends out, and it lets you block certain things from being sent. GhostBlock is the most powerful form of privacy protection--since it lets you control every piece of information that is sent, you can completely control the information that others can collect.

Web Traffic List

The list in the center of the GhostBlock window lists all the communications your computer has sent to the Internet. You can double-click any one of them to get extended information. GhostBlock shows you everything that your computer sends, so you can figure out exactly how your privacy is being compromised and block all the sites you don't trust.

The web traffic list is also useful in detecting and blocking advertising sites. Right-clicking an item brings up a menu which allows you to block (or unblock) requests to the selected site.
